Watch comedians Tim and Eric pay tribute to the goatee

Tim and Eric

Our favorite comedic duo, Tim and Eric, with an ode to the male hipster badge of honor, the goatee. It's all part of YouTube Comedy Week. If you haven't seen Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, creators of the Adult Swim television series Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! or their movie Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, you don't know what you're missing. The sketch comedy cult heroes also collaborate with Michael Cera, Sarah Silverman and Reggie Watts in their own web-based comedy YouTube channel JASH. Eric plays an overzealous percussionist to Tim's deadpan lyrics in this tribute to facial hair.

Guitarist Dirk Gunderson was kind enough to fill us in on Heavy Looks.

Welcome to the world of Black Moth Super Rainbow

Black Moth Super Rainbow

Black Moth Super Rainbow are not your ordinary musicians by a long shot. Eclectic, cultish, seemingly random thoughts collated through an analog electronic funnel. Black Moth Super Rainbow thrives on almost sinister song lyrics, using spacey psychedelia as a backdrop to a world that you did not know existed.

The Hussy breaks through! Listen to the new album Pagan Hiss

Bobby and Heather Hussy

In the spirit of their mentors, Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segall, Bobby and Heather Hussy have slugged it out in scores of clubs and basements across the country. But somehow the band's most raucous shows always seemed reserved for their hometown of Madison. With the release of the new album Pagan Hiss, The Hussy maintains the rugged DIY garage-punk leanings of earlier efforts while expanding their sound into new directions. Tracks like Rezhand and Zimmer show a refreshing new side to the band that will undoubtedly attract more fans. Acoustic guitar and what sounds like keyboards from the Hussy? It's true.
