Didn't get tickets to those final LCD Soundsystem shows in New York last year? You have a second chance to experience the excitement of James Murphy and company one more time.
The LCD Soundsystem documentary Shut Up And Play The Hits is headed to the Sundance Cinemas in Madison for one night only on July 18. The movie has only played film festivals so far this year. The documentary chronicles LCD Soundsystem front-man James Murphy over a 48-hour period, from the day of the band's final gig at Madison Square Garden to the morning after the show. Tickets are on sale now at Sundance Cinema and are sure to sell-out as they have across the country.
Produced by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, Shut Up And Play The Hits premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and played SXSW and was subsequently picked up for distribution by Oscilloscope, the production and distribution company of late Beastie Boy Adam Yauch.
